THE FORMAT
The Dog Show Breed Standard Challenge is open to breeders, handlers, groomers, and dog show enthusiasts who aim to present dogs at true breed standard level.
All participants compete together in one unified class, regardless of their original category.
Grooming time is identical to the regular competition, with no additional time provided.
Dogs must have a minimum of 3 weeks of coat growth, ensuring enough length to achieve a proper breed-standard groom.
Each dog is presented and briefly walked in the ring, allowing judges to evaluate movement, balance, and overall conformation.
This class does not count towards Best in Show or progression to other competition classes.
