With more than 26 years of experience in the international pet grooming industry, Mavis Hao is widely regarded as one of China’s most influential figures in professional grooming education and competition.

She is the President of the International Professional Grooming Association (IPGA) and a respected International Grooming Judge (IJA), regularly invited to evaluate top-level competitions around the world. Known for her sharp technical insight and deep breed knowledge, Mavis brings both authority and educational value to every judging panel she joins.

As the Founder and Director of “Hao Chong Ni” Star Pet Grooming Design, she has dedicated her career to raising grooming standards through high-level training, mentorship and innovation. Since entering the industry in 1999, she has trained tens of thousands of groomers worldwide, shaping new generations of professionals with a strong focus on precision, structure and breed-correct styling.

Mavis Hao holds multiple senior-level distinctions, including China’s Senior Pet Grooming Mentor, Senior Gold-Level Instructor, and Senior Toy Poodle Breeder. Her expertise in poodle grooming, combined with decades of hands-on experience, makes her a highly respected reference in both competitive and educational grooming environments.
