This highly successful handler is originally from Italy. Biagio’s a true poodle artist! He has never had an education in a grooming school, but because of his determination, his endurance and by watching intensively the show ring at dog shows, he has taught himself everything! 6 Months after he started grooming, he won his first grooming competition in Verbania, Italy. He also became second in the handstripping category. Up to now he has won a series of golden medals and he repeatedly became Italian champion. The last time that he won this title was just a few months ago! This highly demanded and successful handler is not only very busy in Europe, but also in the USA, were he stays 2 months a year to work as a handler at dog shows. He grooms and handles all breeds from the groups 1,2,3,8,9 and 10. Not only does he groom Poodles and American Cockers, but he also breeds Siamese and Oriental Cats. His knowhow on grooming cats has resulted in cats that have won 5 times the title of world champion. This year his home bred miniature poodle won the title of best bitch at the Poodle Club of America show, setting a new record for a foreign bitch with long tail. This bitch was bred, groomed and handled by Biagio himself.
He’s currently focussing on teaching and giving grooming courses in his grooming shop  and he also guides a small group of students.
